Remote Marketing Manager, Vertical Marketing

Range: $45 - 51 per hour A premier international music streaming platform is looking for an inventive, analytical, and forward-thinking Vertical Marketing Manager to join its Global Advertising Business Marketing division. In this role, you will spearhead the development of persuasive, integrated marketing initiatives that highlight our advertising value through specific industry lenses. While your primary focus will be the North American market, you will establish vertical strategies and positioning designed for localization across various global territories. This is a 10-month contract based in the US (February 2026 - December 2026), providing parental leave coverage for the current manager. We are seeking a results-focused marketer with a talent for fostering cross-functional relationships. You should be highly organized, resourceful, and capable of overseeing several projects and campaigns at once. You will collaborate with internal partners and regional teams to design, communicate, and implement our B2B marketing roadmap. REMOTE IN EST - WILL TRAVEL TO NYC 1-2 TIMES FOR EVENTS. Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Execution: Independently manage marketing plans, campaign rollouts, and performance tracking for assigned verticals, aligning with the Global team on product debuts and research initiatives.
  • Brand Advocacy: Increase awareness and preference for our advertising suite among vertical-specific brands and agencies to solidify our status as the top audio destination.
  • Leadership Alignment: Serve as a strategic voice within Sales leadership, ensuring vertical marketing goals contribute to broader business objectives.
  • Customer Success: Support local customer advocacy efforts, including the creation of impactful case studies.
  • Content Customization: Tailor marketing materials for specific advertiser segments, ensuring they resonate locally through data-driven insights while staying true to the global brand narrative.
  • PR & Events: Assist with trade PR and industry-specific conferences in partnership with local and international PR departments.
  • Performance Reporting: Analyze all campaign metrics and KPIs to provide actionable insights that inform future data-backed marketing strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage event and department budgets, including vendor onboarding, PO processing, and financial tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Background: 6+ years of professional experience in a B2B marketing capacity, with a strong focus on the customer experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the media and advertising ecosystem, plus a talent for drafting compelling positioning and experiential strategies.
  • Dual Skillset: A mix of creative and analytical thinking; you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret data to refine your approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Google Slides for sales collateral, along with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Work Style: Proven ability to work independently, thrive within a fast-paced team, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders on a global scale.
