Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Classifying and organizing data into spreadsheets, databases, and customer relationship management systems

- Performing searches on websites for information
- Auditing reports and sheets of data
- Verifying, correcting, and deleting unnecessary data, or combining data from several sources
- Reviewing finalized work for errors or duplicate entries before submitting the final product
- Obtaining further information for documents deemed incomplete
- Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless data entry and processing
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, and customer database systems
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other relevant software
- Expertise in computer research and data entry
- Comprehensive knowledge of data entry principles and best practices
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent typing accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
