Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines, managing user reports, and ensuring a positive user experience. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Inflammatory or provocative language + Any other content that may be deemed inappropriate or harmful

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after a thorough investigation and review of the user's behavior.
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruption to the community.
• Investigate user reports of community guideline violations, and take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

* Experience in community management or moderation
