Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing our master data set, developing reports and visualizations, and supporting our data warehouse initiatives. If you have a solid understanding of data analysis tools, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Manage Data: Own the master data set and all that it contains. Review and report all findings to appropriate parties. Explain the testing of data and the ability to import and process confidential data according to guidelines given. Create reports for customers and internal users that provide clarity on trends and areas for improvement.
- Support Data: Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements, as well as initiatives for data integrity and normalization. Make recommendations for improvements and suggest ways to generate sales of existing products by analyzing trends. Compile business intelligence and trends to support actionable recommendations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or a related field
1 year of experience
as a data analyst or in a related field
Ability to understand business needs
and relay them into easy-to-understand, non-technical language
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
- Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
