Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to Aetna members via phone, web, or written correspondence, answering questions, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. Guide members through their benefits, Aetna procedures, and policies, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their coverage and resources available to them. Build trust and rapport with members, creating a positive and caring relationship that is essential to delivering high-quality service. Document and track contacts with members, providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all interactions are accurately recorded and easily accessible. Collaborate with other teams and departments to resolve complex issues and ensure that members receive the support they need. Stay up-to-date with Aetna's products, services, and policies, and make recommendations to members as needed. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members, providers, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have: Previous experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members, providers, and other stakeholders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools.
