Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Examination, Content Group. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve content engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., content preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected client needs and untapped content opportunities
- Forecast content engagement to inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process
- Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R and Python
- Experience in statistical analysis and AI procedures (decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.)
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Passion for media and entertainment
