Key Responsibilities

As a Phone & Chat Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare professionals and facilities
  • Following established communication scripts to address various topics and provide solutions to customers
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing alternatives to meet their requirements
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Performing data entry and customer service skills to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping
  • Navigating online resources efficiently to verify nurses' credentials and facilitate shift coordination
  • Working requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, identifying customers' needs, and researching to determine if requests have the necessary credentials
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to cross-train as requested
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, with a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online resources efficiently
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus
  • Quick learner and able to work independently
  • Type 35 words per minute accurately
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related field or industry
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Experience with data entry and customer service software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Phone & Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll enjoy:

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with shift differential and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Paid training, including 3 weeks of comprehensive training from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
  • Full-time status with 40 hours of work per week
  • Equipment provided, including a laptop or desktop, USB headset, and other necessary tools
