Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative and Interviewer, you'll be responsible for supporting our Telemed team by ensuring all incoming work is assigned and completed within the same day. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, agents, brokers, applicants, and clients, handling complaints, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll also have the opportunity to act as a mentor to your teammates, providing training and support, and contributing to the development of our team's skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

* Interviews: Conduct interviews with clients, agents, brokers, applicants, and clients to gather health history and personal information for insurance purposes.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a positive working relationship with all team members.
  • Training & Development: Attend and participate in development programs, maintain certification where applicable, and continue to improve your skills. Cross-train to other positions as directed and train teammates on new tasks, mentor new employees, and answer questions on process and system functionality.
  • Professional Image: Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times while representing arenaflex, adhering to confidentiality agreements, and promoting professionalism.
  • Goals & Objectives: Set goals and objectives for professional growth, review and revise these on an ongoing basis, and provide input and support to management and practice decisions.

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

  • Good organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work compatibly as a team member with co-workers
  • Ability to logically think and determine the next step to pursue
  • Prefer 6 months of customer service experience and knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related field

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with training and development programs

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
