Jack Westin, a leader in MCAT preparation, is hiring a high-performing SEO & Paid Ads Growth Manager to drive measurable growth across organic and paid acquisition. You will own the strategy and execution that brings future doctors to Jack Westin — helping students discover world-class prep through content, product-led SEO, and intelligently managed paid campaigns. This is not a “write blogs and track keywords” job. This is a growth leadership role where you’ll work directly with a fast-moving team to push rankings, conversion, and revenue. Why Jack Westin?

What You’ll Achieve: Core ResponsibilitiesOwn and scale SEO growth (primary focus)
- Build and execute a measurable SEO strategy across content, technical SEO, internal linking, topical authority, and programmatic opportunities.
- Drive a content engine that ranks for competitive MCAT / premed searches while maintaining quality and credibility.
- Lead technical SEO improvements in collaboration with engineering (site architecture, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, page templates, rendering issues, etc.).
- Identify and execute high-impact SEO experiments (template changes, on-page upgrades, conversion improvements, content refreshes, cannibalization fixes).
- Perform keyword research, clustering, and intent mapping — then turn it into roadmaps that ship.
Run paid acquisition intelligently (secondary but meaningful)
- Own or manage paid search / paid social campaigns with ROI accountability (Google Ads, YouTube, Meta as needed).
- Build & optimize landing pages + funnel flow (conversion rate is part of the job).
- Manage budget allocation and bidding strategy with strong discipline.
- Track performance by cohort and funnel stages (not vanity metrics).
Reporting, attribution, and accountability
- Own growth reporting dashboards and weekly performance narrative.
- Diagnose traffic / conversion shifts and propose fixes quickly.
- Coordinate analytics/tracking with the team (GA4, Search Console, conversion tracking, attribution, etc.).
Who We’re Looking For: Skills & QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of SEO experience, with proven results (not just “worked on SEO”).
- Strong command of:
- Technical SEO fundamentals
- Content strategy + editorial planning
- Internal linking strategy
- SEO tools (GSC, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
- Experience managing Google Ads (or equivalent paid channel ownership) with ROI accountability.
- Strong analytical ability: you can use data to explain what happened, why it happened, and what to do next.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and ship work weekly.
Nice to have
- Experience in EdTech, test prep, B2C subscription, or info-product funnels.
- Experience with programmatic SEO (scaling pages with templates + quality controls).
- Familiarity with modern web stacks (WordPress, Next.js, custom CMS, etc.).
- CRO experience (A/B testing, offer experimentation, landing page iteration).
- Understanding of the pre-med / MCAT journey.
Success Metrics (First 90 Days)
- Build and ship a clear SEO roadmap with meaningful wins delivered.
- Improvements in:
- Indexed pages quality and crawl health
- Rankings for target terms (especially mid/high intent)
- Organic conversions (account creation, lead capture, sales assist)
- Paid campaigns stabilized with:
- Clear funnel tracking
- Improved cost per lead and lead quality
- Practical learnings shipped into landing page improvements
