Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Care department, you'll be responsible for answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to our policy holders, agents, and funeral homes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable call experience in a stable and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide exceptional customer service to policy holders, agents, and funeral homes
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product offerings
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

What We'll Love About You

* Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (plus) is a must

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer operation skills and ability to type 35 wpm
  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
  • Availability: Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:45pm MST; Part-time schedule open to discussion

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience working in the insurance industry

  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Portuguese, French, Chinese)
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
