Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will challenge your skills and help you grow professionally. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Confidentiality: You will be entrusted with sensitive customer information, and it is essential that you maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Data Entry: You will input customer and account data into our digital databases, using your knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Verification: You will review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output to ensure that our databases are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Research and Data Retrieval: You will research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, using your analytical skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Data Program Techniques: You will apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Backup: You will generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure that our data is secure and easily accessible.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: You will scan documents and print files as needed, using your knowledge of touch typing and database management tools to streamline your work.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: You should have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong Computer Skills: You should be proficient in using computers and have excellent typing skills.
  • Basic Knowledge of Touch Typing System and Database Management Tools: You should have a basic understanding of touch typing and database management tools, including data entry software and database management systems.
  • Ability to Enter Data Quickly and Accurately: You should be able to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify and correct errors quickly.
  • Analytical Skills: You should be able to think analytically and resolve issues that may arise during data entry.
  • Experience Working on a Data Entry Clerk Position: While experience is not required, it is a plus, and we encourage candidates with prior experience to apply.
