What You Will Be Doing

As an Ecom Store Chat Support Specialist, you will be handling real-time customer support inquiries via live chat on our website and social media accounts. These could be support questions from existing customers or sales questions from potential new customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming customer support questions via live chat
  • Processing orders and resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing exceptional general customer service to enhance the online shopping experience
  • Working closely with our team to resolve customer issues and improve our services
  • Following provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in our customer support

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle real-time customer support inquiries via live chat

  • Process orders and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional general customer service to enhance the online shopping experience
  • Work closely with our team to resolve customer issues and improve our services
  • Follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in our customer support
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new customer support strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer support

Contract Length and Rate

* Contract length: No fixed term

  • Rate: $35 per hour

Skills and Background Needed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • The ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions
  • 10+ hours availability per week
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
