We are seeking a dedicated and capable Data Entry Clerk to support our Quality Registry Manager, Data Entry Coordinators, and Data Entry Clerk in gathering patient-reported outcomes while maintaining a technically accurate quality improvement database and assisting with other data-related duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Interviewing patients by phone to gather patient-reported outcomes for clinical improvement and research
  • Maintaining accurate clinical databases, including inputting and updating data in a timely manner
  • Assisting with data collection and validation, and providing immediate feedback to department supervisors
  • Collaborating with the quality team, principal investigators, residents, and clinical research team to ensure seamless data collection and analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures, including patient privacy protection policies under HIPAA
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or department supervisor

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of previous experience in a healthcare setting with database entry and data management
  • Coursework in science, anatomy, and medical terminology (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a quality improvement or research setting

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
