Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves our store with a positive experience
  • Handling cash transactions, operating a cash register, and processing sales
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including stocking merchandise on sales floors and in coolers
  • Working collaboratively with other store employees to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Store Management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
  • Standing for up to 90% of the workday, lifting up to 40 pounds, reaching above head, bending, pushing, and pulling carts and equipment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work pleasantly with the public
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Honesty and dependability, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Reliable transportation and phone communication
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands of the job

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
