Norwegian Language Expert (Remote)

• Role: Norwegian Language Expert (Remote)
• Location: 100% Remote (Global)
• Compensation: USD 35-50 per hour (paid weekly via Stripe/Wise)

One of our clients is seeking detail-oriented language and transcription specialists to support a high-impact audio and video AI research project. In this role, you will help create, evaluate, and improve training data used by advanced language and speech models.

What You’ll Do

• Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Norwegian
• Create high-quality written transcriptions following detailed instructions
• Define and document evaluation standards for audio and consumer-facing AI content
• Test and review model outputs against established rubrics
• Participate in quality-assurance and benchmarking workflows

Required Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Norwegian (spoken and written)
• Strong written communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to work on-site in either San Francisco (USA) or London (UK)
• Availability to work approximately 10–20 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transcription, content review, or linguistic data work
• Experience in academic, research, or analytical writing environments

Work Details

• Independent contractor engagement

• Typical engagement length: several weeks to a few months, depending on project needs

Compensation

• $35 to $50 USD per hour
• Paid weekly via Stripe or Wise
