Experienced Production Artist – Visual Design and Digital Production for Hobby Lobby Dunwoody

Job Summary

As a Production Artist, you will be responsible for creating and editing visual designs and digital content for our stores and online platforms. You will work closely with our design team to develop and implement design concepts, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution. If you have a strong portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Work independently with management, clients, peers, and colleagues to address design challenges and prepare documents

• Finalize design and documents to ensure project plans are complete and everything meets role/company standards
• Enter and track projects in MARVIN and other team files
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as tracking statistics and organizing data as needed
• Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement design concepts
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution of design projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software, and technology to ensure continued growth and development

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field required

• Design experience is helpful
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Knowledge of Mac skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with digital production and print production

• Knowledge of design software and technology (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Figma, etc.)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong understanding of design principles and visual design concepts
• Ability to think creatively and outside the box
