Job Summary

As a Patient Registration Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and support during the registration process. You'll work in a fast-paced hospital environment, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to collect patient information accurately and efficiently, while also providing emotional support and addressing patients' concerns and questions.

Key Responsibilities

* Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy hospital environment, using multiple screens and programs to collect details accurately and efficiently.

  • Help patients who may be ill or worried, providing emotional support and addressing their concerns and questions in real-time.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients to complete their registration and navigating the complexities of health plans and coverage.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals, building trust and rapport through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Use technology to collect and input patient information accurately and efficiently, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, using multiple screens and programs to collect information accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work on your feet, often in a busy and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient registration or a related role.

  • Knowledge of health plans and coverage, including insurance and billing processes.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems and processes.
