Administrative Assistant - Claims

Stewart Title is a leading provider of residential and commercial title insurance. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant in their Claims Department to provide day-to-day administrative support to Lawyers and Claims Examiners, including preparing documentation, handling confidential information, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing routine documentation and correspondence for a group of Claims Examiners and Lawyers
  • Creating reports and tracking departmental data
  • Handling confidential information with significant discretion and judgment
  • Sending out and tracking couriers and express post packages
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning documents
  • Closing Claim files as per the closing procedures
  • Assisting Claims Examiners with administrative support as required
  • Incoming and Outgoing mail
  • Answering all incoming Claims calls
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Skills

  • 1-3 years of administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effectively interacts within a team setting
  • Resourceful nature
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) advanced knowledge of Excel is required
