About the Role
The Strategy Rotational Program is designed to foster future leaders at bolthires by combining on-the-job learning with tailored training and career development opportunities. As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with strategy teams across Business Strategy, Digital Strategy, and Corporate Strategy, providing strategic advice, subject matter expertise, and innovative solutions to bolthires businesses and top executives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning, contributing to large-scale planning and strategic decision-making. Assist in identifying strategic business and investment opportunities, evaluating, and approving identified opportunities. Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives. Exercise independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables and resolve moderately complex issues. Lead teams to meet deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor, developing an approach and assessing business real-time competitive advantage.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have: 4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. A strong understanding of business strategy, financial services, and the ability to think critically and strategically.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A BS/BA degree or higher, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred. Experience with a premier strategy consulting firm or prior corporate strategy within Financial Services, FinTech, or BigTech. Interest in developing or having subject-matter expertise within consumer, commercial, or corporate banking and its products. Strategic, "outside the box" thinking with proven ability to navigate through ambiguity, define and deconstruct problems, and understand the bigger picture. Experience independently leading distinct bodies of work and/or projects. Skilled at developing an approach and assessing business real-time competitive advantage, leveraging internal and external data and business intelligence.

To succeed in this role, you should possess: Outstanding problem-solving skills, qualitative and quantitative data analysis experience, and high attention to detail. The ability to act as a trusted advisor to line of business stakeholders, contribute independent perspective, and anticipate their needs. Effective leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to partner with and successfully influence senior executives and other stakeholders. Advanced bolthires Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to give effective presentations to senior and executive-level leaders.
