Experienced GRC Professional for Disney's Cybersecurity Team - Remote Data Entry Specialist (Part/Full Time)

We're looking for an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Cybersecurity Crew as a remote team member, working on Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and internal threat control software. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in guiding GRC-related activities and ensuring the seamless execution of various tasks. About Our Cybersecurity Crew Our team is comprised of green cybersecurity specialists who formulate and implement techniques and recommendations to help the organization align with its business dreams while dealing with dangers correctly and meeting industry guidelines and standards. We work on cutting-edge technology and toward new innovations in the area of cybersecurity to ensure the magic of Disney remains secure. As a remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be an integral part of this team, working closely with our Manager (Governance, Threat, and Compliance) to drive our cybersecurity initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) software, ensuring the Walt Disney Organization's (TWDC) global third-party/internal risk method is executed effectively. Validate incoming third-party/internal risk assessment requests, working with business stakeholders to confirm the details of the request and the scope of the engagement. Conduct kick-off sessions with business stakeholders and related third parties for conducting the TPRM, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Coordinate the distribution of due diligence questionnaires to internal stakeholders/third parties, reviewing submitted questionnaires for completeness and identifying potential risks. Document responses, associated findings, and remediation plans in TWDC systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Draft and review reports for the checks performed, ensuring respective business stakeholders finalize reviews and providing a strong liaison for any queries. Perform continuous tracking of third parties via TWDC systems for current/new findings, monitoring any findings to closure. Identify opportunities for improvement within TWDC systems and strategies, driving ongoing enhancements. Work closely with the Risk Lead/Manager to schedule and execute a range of different assisting activities related to the risk management program. Governance, Threat, and Compliance Lead and help develop cybersecurity risk and compliance-related strategies to ensure treatment of cybersecurity risk consistent with the agency's risk appetite. Maintain and document compliance towards information safety-associated guidelines and processes through planning, checking out, remediating, tracking, and reporting on control reviews and risk checks. Lead development and shipping of compliance and danger education and ongoing communications that assist power tradition of protection and compliance. Stay abreast of regulatory changes, new guidelines, technology, and internal policy modifications to further identify new key risk regions. Lead the sports to preserve and guide ISO 27001 standard, ensuring ongoing compliance and excellence. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex relationships and communicate effectively. A working understanding of information security-related best practices and requirements, including ISO 2700x, SOC 2 requirements, SSAE 16/18 standards, and more. Experience in the management of risk, controls, and compliance, with a strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies (qualitative/quantitative). Super analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data and identify key insights. Excellent presentation making and delivery skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders. Personal Attributes We're looking for someone with: Robust interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively. The ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and be flexible with working hours. Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to adapt to changing conditions and drive positive change. Preferred Training and Experience To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have: A relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree from an accepted university or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years of experience throughout third-party risk management, information security, and audit & compliance tracking (with at least 2-3 years in TPRM/internal audit). Preferred experience working with a large company and/or Big Four accounting firm. One or more relevant credentials, such as CISA, CRISC, ISO27001 L/LI, CISSP. Experience in AI/ML is a plus, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to cybersecurity.
