Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Application Architect, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data applications that meet the needs of our organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data infrastructure, and you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing data applications from scratch, using a range of technologies and tools
- Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses
- Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data application development

Capability and Necessities
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in data application development, with a focus on full-stack development
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience with business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Microstrategy
- Experience with cloud-based data services, such as Azure or AWS
- Strong knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases
- Experience with data modeling and design
- Familiarity with ETL tools, such as Informatica or Talend
- Experience with cloud-based development platforms, such as Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Favored Capabilities and Experience
While not required, the following skills and experiences would be a plus:
- Experience with data science and AI
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, GoCD, or Terraform
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#
- Familiarity with expert data management (MDM) tools
- Experience with Scrum and DevOps best practices
- Experience working in a global, distributed team, with in-house and external delivery assets
