The Role RevolutionParts is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, disrupting and innovating in the automotive space by creating the most active parts network in North America. Since our inception, dealerships have sold more than $1 BILLION in parts and accessories online using the RevolutionParts platform. We are here to transform the way parts buyers and sellers connect. At the heart of RevolutionParts are our core values: Think Big, Own It, Wow Them, Leave Your Ego at the Door, Work Together Win Together, and Move Fast Fail Fast. Join us in transforming the automotive industry, committed to making a positive impact on our customers and their digital transformation journey. RevolutionParts is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. SEO Specialist to lead and expand our Technical SEO efforts. As a senior member of the agency team, you will execute advanced technical SEO best practices across our in-house ecommerce platform, which supports more than 2,000 customers in the automotive parts industry, and apply this body of work directly to our Tier 1 clients to drive measurable growth in organic traffic, visibility, and revenue. In this role, you will own the technical SEO strategy and execution for top-priority clients. You will conduct in-depth technical audits, identify systemic issues, develop scalable SEO solutions, and partner with developers to ensure high-impact enhancements are implemented. You will monitor and analyze performance, proactively uncover growth opportunities, and implement optimizations that strengthen organic search health at both the site and platform level. You will consult closely with other SEO team members, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and serve as a senior point of contact in client discussions. A strong understanding of analytics, performance dashboards, and report creation is essential, as is the ability to present insights and recommendations to clients on a regular basis with confidence and clarity. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical SEO practitioner who is data-driven, collaborative, and motivated by the responsibility of accelerating organic performance for our most strategically important clients. They are comfortable diagnosing complex SEO issues, translating findings into actionable plans, and demonstrating how SEO improvements connect directly to business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Support on-page and technical SEO initiatives across our internal ecommerce CMS platform.
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify issues related to crawling, indexing, metadata, and site performance.
  • Gather and analyze data, create performance reports, and provide clear recommendations to improve technical SEO health.
  • Collaborate with developers, content teams, and account managers to implement SEO best practices across customer sites.
  • Monitor key SEO metrics using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and enterprise crawling software.
  • Maintain safeguards and monitoring for site structure issues that may impact organic visibility or user experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing platform tasks such as sitemap review, URL structure validation, and metadata auditing.
  • Stay up-to-date on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools to support continuous improvement.
  • Document findings, track issues, and support project execution across multiple customer accounts and internal initiatives.
  • Develop clear, data-driven performance reports that highlight technical findings, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Present SEO insights, recommendations, and progress updates to Tier 1 clients during recurring meetings.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and actionable for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with account managers to prepare client-ready deliverables, quarterly business reviews, and roadmap updates.
  • Maintain strong client communication by proactively identifying risks, performance changes, and optimization opportunities.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, digital communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 4–6 years of experience in SEO, preferably with some exposure to client interface, reporting, and technical SEO
  • Working understanding of SEO fundamentals, including crawling, indexing, site structure, and page performance.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
  • Basic familiarity with content management systems and how they affect SEO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns or issues.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (JavaScript familiarity is a plus, not required).
  • Ability to manage tasks, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A willingness to learn, take direction, and progressively expand technical SEO capabilities.

The Onboarding Experience: While this role is primarily remote, all new hires may be required to travel to our headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, for 3–4 days within their first 30 days of employment.

  • Why we do it: This onsite immersion is designed to help you build relationships with your teammates, dive deep into our product and culture, and ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed.
  • Travel & Expenses: RevolutionParts fully manages and covers all approved travel-related expenses, including airfare, lodging, and meals.
  • Logistics: More specific details regarding travel dates and arrangements will be discussed during the offer stages.
