Application Architect - AWS Cloud Migration

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States Description: CTG is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead enterprise-scale AWS cloud migration initiatives for one of our clients. This role focuses on designing and delivering migration solutions across AWS (primary) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months What You’ll Do:

• Lead AWS-focused cloud migration architecture and delivery
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, re-architect, re-platform, containerization)
• Serve as migration SME, guiding tools, methodologies, and technical planning
• Translate client application and platform requirements into AWS services and architectures
• Partner with project managers on estimates, risks, dependencies, and MVP planning

What You Bring:

• Strong AWS cloud architecture and migration experience
• Exposure to Azure and/or GCP
• Experience communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
• Background in cloud computing, ML/DL concepts, and modern architectures

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have:

• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to business goals and industry trends.
• Understanding of enterprise business processes and market drivers.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
