Job Summary

The Remote Data Entry Specialist is responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for alternative investments. This critical role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of client transactions, identifies and addresses discrepancies, and provides exceptional customer service to our clients and business partners. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, as well as external partners, to deliver seamless and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and refine exchange deal transactions in client accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Identify and address discrepancies between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle and reconcile transactions, and process and reconcile dividend activity
  • Conduct research on complex and escalated issues, perform testing and validation of new technology enhancements and vendor changes
  • Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with governing responsibilities, such as 2340 and 15C3-3

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in alternative investments, financial services, or a related industry
  • Knowledge of tax programming and corrections, as well as experience with tax coding
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Slack, and other collaboration tools
  • Certifications or designations, such as CFA or CPA, are a plus
