[Remote] Home Office - Accounts Payable Associate

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to handle invoice processing, approvals, and coding while ensuring accurate tracking of costs related to property damage claims.

Responsibilities

• Scan invoices to the Accounts Payable system for verification, approvals, and coding
• Gather necessary approvals for invoices and follow up with approvers
• Code construction invoices with appropriate account and vendor codes, due dates, and capital expenses as needed
• Track costs related to property damage claims across various locations
• Prepare checks for mailing and ensure proper distribution

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or accounts payable role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with invoice processing and vendor statement reconciliation
• Familiarity with accounts payable software or systems
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting department
