[Remote] Publication Designer

They are seeking a talented Publication Designer to contribute to their creative team by designing layouts for nationally distributed magazines while adhering to brand and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design a large volume of pages of nationally distributed magazines
• Work in a high-speed, deadline-intensive setting
• Adhere to accuracy, brand, and quality standards
• Have a “We, Not Me” mentality as a member of a team of designers

Skills

• Strong competence with Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly InDesign
• Keen eye for clean, engaging, and well-structured layout design
• Delivering design work with both speed and precision
• Basic understanding of Google Sheets and Asana
• Exceptional attitude – no brilliant jerks allowed
• Adaptability in a changing environment
• A portfolio of your work samples with a focus on magazine layout samples
