Caltrans District 3 is dedicated to improving lives and communities through transportation. They are seeking a Construction Payments Coordinator to manage the daily, weekly, and monthly processing of construction contract payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations in coordination with accounting staff.

Responsibilities

  • Under the general direction of the Senior Transportation Engineer supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly processing of construction contract payments for the Department
  • The incumbent follows detailed procedures for internal financial systems (Contract Administration System (CAS) and AMS Advantage) and coordinates closely with Accounting and district staff to provide accurate and timely processing of payments, and provides support for issues

Skills

  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
  • Statement of Qualification (SOQ) is required

  • The SOQ shall be formatted to show the answers numerically in the same order as outlined below
  • The SOQ must be typed, single-spaced, 12-point font, and not more than two (2) pages in length

  • Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
