- Start Date: Immediate openings available Job Summary: As a Nursing Instructor at Concorde Career Colleges, you will be responsible for providing active and effective learning experiences for students in various educational settings. You will act as a professional and academic role model, committed to student satisfaction and academic excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching in classrooms, labs, clinical, and online settings, as well as participating in campus and student activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct classes as assigned, preparing lesson plans and course materials as required
- Objectively assess students for academic performance, providing regular and constructive feedback
- Effectively organize and present subject matter to students, utilizing instructional plans and learning management systems
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, setting an example for professionalism and conduct
- Proactively inform Program Directors of any student attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns
- Participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities, including Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and certification requirements Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a clinical component (BON) required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience (ACCSC)
- Active and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of Missouri (BON)
- No disciplinary actions in any jurisdiction (BON)
- Teaching experience preferred Skills and Competencies:
