Senior Android Automation Engineer (QA) - work from home

We teach and learn from one another and push each other to be at our creative and analytical bests. The Android Automation Engineer will build highly robust, reliable, and fast automated tests for our Android App leveraging Java, Kotlin, and the Espresso automation framework. Responsibilities:

• Write automated tests using Kotlin, Java, and Espresso for our Android App.
• Define, program, update, and troubleshoot automated tests.
• Work alongside other engineers at our client to help drive and improve the quality of our tests and products so our customers have the best experience possible.
• Partner with product and infrastructure engineers to understand our client's domains and architecture to write the best tests that fit within our client CI/CD system.

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or relevant practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience programming experience in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with Espresso or other mobile automation frameworks.
• Experience in designing and building automated tests leveraging Cloud infrastructure and Continuous Delivery systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in test frameworks design, development, and related solutions.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Technical knowledge and experience with mobile application development.
• Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns.
