Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work on a full-time remote basis, analyzing complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and executing data analysis projects, developing insights, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute data analysis projects to inform business decisions and drive growth Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data tools Design and implement data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business decisions Develop and present reports, dashboards, and other analytics products to senior leadership Provide guidance and support to junior team members Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance) At least 3 years of work experience in data analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analytics Proficiency in analysis software and applications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Alteryx, Python/R) Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAFE Agile Knowledge of probability and statistics, TSQL/PLSQL, Python or R, and mathematical modeling Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) Familiarity with automation and data mining techniques Experience with fundamental accounting principles and financial analysis Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Senior Data Analyst at Fedex, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment Proficiency in analysis software and applications Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Fedex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
