Job Overview

The Experienced Technical Leader and Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products from conception to retirement, leading and coaching a team of technical experts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to develop and implement product vision and strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for building and supporting IT products, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of products from conception to retirement, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Lead and coach a team of technical experts, including tech leads, to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of IT services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to develop and implement product vision and strategy
  • Drive the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for building and supporting IT products
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including audit, security, and compliance standards
  • Manage production and non-production environments through change control management
  • Act as the escalation point for operational support to assigned portfolio applications with continuous availability
  • Develop, maintain, and report on a financial and resource plan for the area of responsibility
  • Partner with other technical leaders to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies
  • Play a critical role in driving and mentoring direct and indirect team members to support the commitment, growth, and development of the IT division

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; or demonstrated ability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of relevant experience
  • Practical experience in Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing: Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Availability for moderate overnight travel (up to 35%)
  • Valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout the US
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience managing a budget
  • Experience managing a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadership
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business operations and in-depth knowledge of business activities, objectives, and strategies
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's IT disciplines and interdependencies and how their needs drive IT strategy
