Business Analyst - Commercial Banking / Loan Servicing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst - Commercial Banking / Loan Servicing in the United States. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial banking operations, system testing, and business analysis. You will partner closely with business teams, IT, and vendors to ensure loan servicing systems and related integrations function accurately and efficiently. Your focus will be on gathering requirements, developing test scripts, coordinating SIT and UAT testing, and maintaining alignment across multiple stakeholders. The position requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who enjoys managing complex projects, mentoring junior analysts, and driving continuous improvement in processes. With a fully remote work setup, you will have the autonomy to influence critical business initiatives while contributing to high-quality system implementations. Accountabilities:

  • Lead and coordinate SIT and UAT testing for loan servicing systems, including planning, execution, issue resolution, and documentation
  • Write business requirements, test scripts, and test cases that support system design and project goals
  • Review and execute test cases, validating results and ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Serve as the functional lead on projects, facilitating meetings, tracking deliverables, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Support system integrations, conversions, and acquisition-related initiatives
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, and change requests to maintain quality, compliance, and alignment with business objectives
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance to improve team processes and outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of combined higher education and/or business analytics experience
  • Hands-on experience coordinating SIT and UAT testing, preferably with loan servicing systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues
  • Ability to write clear, actionable business requirements and test scripts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time-management, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word, and familiarity with common project management software
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with integrated applications and multi-team projects is a plus
  • Comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels and juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously
