We're seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Partner Expert IT Crewmember Innovation Administrations (CTS) team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our crewmembers receive top-notch support and service.

Job Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing expert technical support to arenaflex crewmembers, ensuring they receive timely and effective solutions to their technical issues. You'll work closely with our IT team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems, and provide exceptional customer service to our crewmembers. This is a part-time remote job, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support to arenaflex crewmembers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with equipment, applications, and communication devices

  • Offer exceptional customer service, responding to crewmember inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with our IT team to identify and resolve complex technical problems, and implement solutions to prevent future issues
  • Maintain accurate records of crewmember issues and resolutions, ensuring compliance with arenaflex standards and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improving our technical support processes
  • Work closely with our Data Innovation (IT) disciplines to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary School Certificate or General Instruction Improvement (GED) Certificate

  • Experience supporting the latest operating systems, or successful completion of the IT for Everybody certificate through Coursera
  • Experience implementing and supporting applications
  • Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%)
  • Possession of valid travel documents, with the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US
  • Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US
  • Experience using desktop software packages

Preferred Qualifications

* Certifications (Microsoft, Networking, programming languages)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products
  • Knowledge of Trade and Office Suite
  • Knowledge of LAN climate using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Knowledge of communication, messaging, and network (VOIP and POTS)
  • Knowledge of mobile devices
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of General media solutions

Crewmember Assumptions

* Regular attendance and reliability

  • Possible need to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • While working or traveling on arenaflex flights, and if time allows, all fit crewmembers are expected to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Should be a proper fit for the arenaflex culture, or at least, display the arenaflex values of Wellbeing, Mindful, Honesty, Energy, and Tomfoolery
  • Advance arenaflex's #1 value of safety as a Wellbeing Representative, supporting arenaflex's Wellbeing Management Framework (SMS) components, Wellbeing Strategy, and social principles
  • Identify wellbeing or potential safety concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them as soon as possible and without hesitation, including arenaflex's confidential reporting frameworks (Avionics Wellbeing Activity Program (pronto), JEMS or Security Activity Report (SAR))
