What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting student and patient processes through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Assisting with admissions, enrollment, registration, and financial aid processes, ensuring a seamless experience for our students and patients
  • Utilizing arenaflex's ERP and CRM systems to review student records and assist with enrollment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Scheduling patient appointments and navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to provide exceptional care and support
  • Ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies and HIPAA regulations, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data security

What We Require (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and patients from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and confidentiality
  • Experience using Banner, Recruit, and/or Avaya systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

If you have:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, education, or healthcare
  • Experience in higher education, student services, or healthcare, with a deep understanding of academic programs, policies, and regulations
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, allowing you to communicate effectively with a diverse student and patient population
  • Experience with NextGen and/or Avaya systems, with a proven ability to navigate complex technology platforms
