Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including registering sales, handling returns, and processing voids and exchanges
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, ensuring that all patient and medication information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date with state and local regulations regarding managed items, such as controlled substances and tobacco products
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration, business)

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience working in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting

  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our assigned PTCB training program
  • Excellent numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescriptions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts
