Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist – Statistics, you will be responsible for providing numerical modeling and analysis services to support business decision-making and strategic planning. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex business problems and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value
• Identifying and investigating complex business issues using large datasets and advanced analytics techniques
• Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Participating in model development, testing, and deployment for multiple projects simultaneously
• Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and presenting findings to senior leadership
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytics and applying this knowledge to drive business results

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis, including regression, time series analysis, and machine learning
• Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or Julia
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand the business implications of data-driven insights
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
