Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for home automation and security to join our team. As a software engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement software solutions that meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test software solutions for home automation and security applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop technical specifications and implement software solutions that meet our high standards
- Work closely with our HomeKit engineering team to ensure seamless integration with Apple's ecosystem
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets our coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and maintainability of our codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in home automation and security
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on home automation and security
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, and C++
- Experience with HomeKit and its ecosystem
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and debugging
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Quick and Objective-C programming languages
- Strong understanding of optimization and performance issues in OS software layers
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Experience with cloud-based services and APIs
