Experienced Outbound Customer Service Representative – Mortgage Industry Sales and Upselling

Job Summary

As an Outbound Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving sales and upselling our products and services to existing borrowers. You'll be working on various campaigns, including partnerships with third-party companies such as insurance companies, home warranties, and security systems. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to customers, identify their needs, and route them to the appropriate department. You'll also be responsible for receiving inbound customer calls, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

* Make outbound calls to customers using our dialer system, with a daily call volume of up to 50-100+ calls

  • Work on various campaigns, including partnerships with third-party companies
  • Identify customer needs and route them to the appropriate department
  • Receive inbound customer calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with sales teams to upsell and cross-sell products and services
  • Meet or exceed sales and performance targets

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2+ years of experience in outbound customer service or call center environment

  • Proven track record of success in sales and upselling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Outbound dialing experience

  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry and its products and services
  • Experience working with CRM software and other sales tools
  • Certification in sales or customer service (e.g. Certified Sales Professional, Certified Customer Service Representative)
