Manager, Digital Merchandising

JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Digital Merchandising is responsible for supporting the marketing and digital merchandising strategies for Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques ecommerce business. This person will execute visual merchandising, content updates, brand collaborations and product launches in support of our merchandising and marketing goals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with managing an ecommerce website, is both creative and detail-oriented, and has a passion for luxury lifestyle businesses. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing division within Marriott and to gain first-hand experience scaling an ecommerce operation. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in ecommerce visual merchandising, digital marketing, digital marketing operations, or digital creative services,
  • Ability to develop and lead a project plan, including gathering contributions and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing website analytics and providing digital merchandising recommendations.
  • Experience working with datasets in Excel and managing asset libraries.

Preferred

  • Experience with various ecommerce programs such as Shopify, Magento, Squarespace, Klayvio.
  • Experience managing email or social media marketing.
  • Experience with Canva,Photoshop, Capcut, generative AI and other creator tools.
  • Ecommerce experience, with specific preference to home and lifestyle industries.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Assists with seasonal product launches, including gathering assets, product data, building out product and landing pages.
  • Reviews and execute ecommerce merchandising goals and strategies to drive sales, conversion and site KPIs.
  • Collaborates with Merchandising Operations team to test the site, promotions and new feature launches.
  • Creates and analyzes various site reports and product lists for marketing and merchandising teams.
  • Coordinates and participates in site testing to ensure correct data integrity.
  • Assists in creating new category/subcategories based on seasonal needs.
  • Leverages knowledge of the products and business to maintain accuracy.
  • Contributes to various initiatives where needed.
