Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Providing empathetic and personalized customer service to resolve issues and concerns
  • Utilizing computer skills for data entry and managing patient information
  • Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information to ensure accurate and timely communication
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)
  • Active internet already installed and the ability to work from home
  • Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
  • Great work attitude and willingness to help others
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
