Job Description

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring our online community remains a positive and productive space for all users. This part-time, remote position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic team that's dedicated to making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate the chat of arenaflex's official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Inflammatory or provocative statements

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community rules, following a fair and transparent process.
• Mute users who have violated our community standards, providing them with a chance to reflect on their behavior.
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, working closely with our community team to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
• Collaborate with our community team to develop and implement strategies for promoting a positive and inclusive community culture.

Essential Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when moderating chat conversations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a moderator or community manager in online forums or social media platforms.

• Knowledge of community management principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values, or a strong desire to learn more about our organization.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate our global community.
