Entry Level Environmental Scientist

They are seeking an entry-level field biologist to join their field team in Midland or Lubbock, TX, focusing on environmental compliance, biological surveys, and data collection for environmental permitting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Environmental compliance construction monitoring
- Pre-construction surveys
- Biological surveys
- Wetland delineations
- Client site inspections
- Environmental media sampling and water quality monitoring
- Storm water BMP installation and maintenance
- Data collection and report preparation support for environmental permitting and compliance with applicable state and Federal regulations (e.g., ESA, CESA, CEQA, USACE 404 and 401)
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in biology, botany, ecology, zoology, environmental science, or watershed management
- 1-3 years of work experience (or internship experience)
- Master's degree in one of the above areas
- Wetland delineation training or experience
- Species-specific training or experience
