We’re Hiring: Account Executive at an Award-Winning Boutique PR Agency
Blend PR is an award-winning boutique public relations agency based in Toronto, specializing in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer brands. They are seeking a driven, media-savvy Account Executive to manage client PR efforts, oversee campaign execution, and build strong media and influencer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day PR efforts across assigned client accounts
- Pitch media and influencers, write press releases, pitches, and secure earned placements
- Create media and influencer lists with support from Account Associates and Account Coordinators
- Track and log media and influencer placements using Blend PR’s software platforms, as well as manual tracking when required
- Ensure all secured coverage is accurately recorded in KPI dashboards and tracking tools on a weekly basis
- Coordinate product seeding to media and influencers from our warehouse through the Director of Logistics
- Assist with events across ideation, creation, and execution phases
- Organize client events and one-on-one meetings with support from Account Associates and Account Coordinators
- Work directly with clients to align on strategy and deliver results
- Bring forward creative campaign ideas and proactive pitch angles for client programs
- Continuously monitor Canadian media and influencer landscapes to stay informed on emerging outlets, talent, and trends
- Maintain a strong pulse on what is new and relevant in Canadian media and influencer culture
- Track individual client hours and submit weekly reports to the Director of Logistics every Friday
- Attend all assigned client meetings
- Attend required in-office days and agency events
Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a PR agency environment
- A university or college degree in Public Relations
- Strong media pitching and writing skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities
- A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing ideas and working cross-functionally
- A genuine interest in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer brands is a strong asset
