About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. As a remote worker, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., with a schedule that includes 40 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. You'll be required to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM CST, with occasional overtime, including a 6th day and one weekend day shift during peak seasons.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to 60-80 incoming calls from patients inquiring about home delivery pharmacy or pharmacy benefits
  • Asking appropriate questions and listening actively while documenting required information in our systems
  • Occasionally making outbound calls to patients for follow-ups

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, or 2 years of equivalent work experience
  • To be at least 18 years old
  • 1 year of customer service experience, including providing service over the phone
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to attend 3-4 weeks of training with 100% attendance
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Call Center experience
  • Experience with virtual learning environments
  • Experience with virtual working environments
  • Experience working with digital platforms and systems (Web, Chat, Email)
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or insurance environment, including medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design

Telecommuting Requirements

To work remotely, you'll need:

  • A dedicated work area that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • A high-speed internet connection or the ability to leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • A direct connection to the internet via a hardwired connection (either directly to a modem or router)
  • The ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Soft Skills

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Anticipation of taking a minimum of 50 calls daily

Physical and Work Environment

This role requires:

  • Frequent speaking and listening using a headset
  • Sitting and using hands/fingers across a keyboard or mouse
  • Long periods working at a computer
