Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes that enable our teams to make data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure that our data solutions are aligned with our business objectives. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing data pipelines that collect, process, and transform data from various sources
• Developing and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes that store and manage large datasets
• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models and data visualizations
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security through data validation, data profiling, and data governance
• Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and incidents
• Staying up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends, technologies, and best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, and Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with data visualization tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks and tools
• Experience with data security and compliance frameworks and tools
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
