Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Support: Respond promptly to customer queries via live chat, email, video, phone, and social media channels, ensuring that every interaction is positive and helpful.
  • Escalating Serious Issues: Immediately escalate serious complaints or issues that you're not equipped to deal with, working closely with colleagues and managers to find the best solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Liaise with colleagues and managers to identify common problems and develop strategies for improvement, sharing customer feedback and insights to drive product and service innovation.
  • Maintaining a Professional Manner: Always maintain a polite, helpful, and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Providing Training and Feedback: Provide training to new customer service agents, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Familiarize yourself with new products and services as they're introduced, attending workshops and meetings as required to stay ahead of the curve.

Customer Service Specialist Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field being advantageous.
  • Practical Experience: Practical experience with help desk software, such as Zendesk, and CRM software, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, may be required.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Language Skills: The ability to speak a second language may be advantageous, with a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with clients.
