Our Digital Technology team is a dynamic and innovative group of professionals who are passionate about building cutting-edge technology solutions that drive business success. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you'll be part of a global team that's responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data protection and privacy risks
* Developing and maintaining data protection and privacy training programs for employees
* Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure data protection and privacy compliance
* Providing expert advice and guidance on data protection and privacy matters to stakeholders
* Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
* In-depth knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management and stakeholders
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
While the above qualifications are essential for success in this role, we're also looking for candidates who possess the following preferred qualifications:
* CISA certification
* Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
* Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
* Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
* Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
* Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or overall effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
