About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through empathy and technical expertise. You will interface with client customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet, providing customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding client products and/or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer
  • Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding, use decision-support tools and resources to resolve customer issues that are non-standard/unstructured and require some clarification or conceptual thinking
  • Resolve overdue bills, collect payments from the party responsible for the debt, and address client queries regarding delinquent accounts and help to develop repayment plans
  • Maintain broad knowledge of client products and/or services
  • Prepare complete and accurate work, including appropriately notating accounts as required
  • Be tenacious in tracking, documenting, and retrieving information in call tracking database
  • Be comfortable with fraud prevention, collections, and transaction disputes
  • Ensure service delivered to our customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicators

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required
  • Live within 25 to 30-mile radius of our site
  • Strong PC knowledge and computer navigation skills
  • The ability to work rotational shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service role
  • Knowledge of client products and/or services
  • Experience with decision-support tools and resources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
