Strategic Planning Intern
Northwell Health is seeking a Strategic Planning Intern to assist with various departmental tasks. The intern will participate in data collection, assist in operational studies, and support management in implementing new programs.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department
- Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures
- Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in as an undergrad junior, undergrad senior or graduate level program majoring in Health Administration, Analytics, Computer Science, Coding, Business
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting
