About arenaflex's Data Engineering Team

arenaflex is looking for an accomplished, detail-oriented data engineer to join our Global Outreach group, Data Arrangements and Drives (DSI). DSI is a product methodology and engineering team that works closely with business development and sales finance. Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and testing large-scale data architectures to provide expert analytical and reporting capabilities across arenaflex's global and regional sales and finance groups.
• Creating highly adaptable data pipelines to ingest data from various source systems, using Apache Airflow to orchestrate, schedule, and monitor workflows.
• Building reusable solutions that can scale and leverage different technologies and frameworks to address our complex business needs.
• Ensuring data quality through establishing data quality management frameworks and anomaly detection capabilities.
• Being expected to understand existing solutions, tailor them, and support them as needed.

Essential Qualifications

* 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data visualization, and data architecture.

• Strong expertise in designing and developing cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and large data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, and Dremio.
• Experience in designing and developing custom ETL pipelines using SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, Golang) and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow.
• Experience with advanced SQL, execution tuning, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with current data engineering trends like data lakes, data lakehouse, and distributed computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment tools for databases and software.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks.

• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and applications.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of data architecture patterns and principles.
